Terms of Service
Last updated 16 Sep 2026
The agreement between you and us for Lobster Browser: what you may do with it, how packages and Credit are paid for, and what we are and are not responsible for.
1. These terms
Lobster Browser is a desktop browser and the account service behind it, supplied by [Company legal name] of [Registered address] ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us for the software, the website at lobrowser.com and your account (together, "the service").
By creating an account, installing the application or paying for a package you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we hold about you. It forms part of these terms.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to use the service.
You are responsible for your account: keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it. What is done through your account is treated as done by you.
One person, one account. Sharing an account or reselling access is not permitted.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the service only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for complying with the law that applies to you and with the terms of every website and service you use through Lobster Browser.
You must not use the service to:
- commit fraud, deceive anyone, or gain access to accounts, systems or data you are not entitled to;
- harass, threaten or harm anyone, or distribute malicious software;
- interfere with the service itself, probe it for weaknesses, or try to bypass its limits.
We may suspend or close an account used in breach of this section.
4. Packages, Credit and refunds
The service is sold as packages, each with a monthly price and a profile allowance, and as Credit, a prepaid balance you top up in advance. Prices and allowances are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase; a change to them does not affect a period you have already paid for.
A package renews at the end of each period and is paid from your Credit. If your Credit does not cover the renewal, the package lapses and the account continues on the free plan.
Credit and packages are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. A lapsed or cancelled package stays available until the end of the period you paid for.
5. The Lobee assistant
Lobee is an assistant built into each profile that carries out tasks you give it in your browser. To do so it processes your instruction and the content of the pages it works on. Its usage is paid from your Credit at the rate shown in the application.
Lobee acts on your behalf: what it does with your instruction is your responsibility, and you should not ask it to do anything you may not do yourself under section 3.
6. Your profiles and your data
What is inside a profile is yours. It is encrypted on your device before it is stored with us, and we cannot read it. You grant us only the permission we need to store it, transfer it between your devices and back it up.
Deleting a profile removes it after a short grace period, and that removal is final: because we never held the key, we cannot recover it.
7. Availability, changes and termination
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or withdraw features, and we will give notice of any change that materially reduces what a paid package includes.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for a breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where the law requires. Sections 6 and 8 survive the end of the agreement.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that any website will treat a profile in a particular way, that a task given to Lobee will succeed, or that the service will meet your particular requirements.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data you did not back up.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by [Governing law and jurisdiction]. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed; continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
