What Lobster Browser collects, why, how long it is kept, and the parts of it — everything inside a profile — that are encrypted before they reach us and cannot be read on our side.

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what [Company legal name] of [Registered address] ("we", "us") collects when you use Lobster Browser, the website at lobrowser.com and your account, why, and what your choices are.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, your name, an optional company name, and your password in a protected form that cannot be turned back into the password.
  • Billing: your Credit balance, top-ups and purchases, and the references we need to match a payment to your account.
  • Profiles: each profile’s name, labels, sizes and dates, and the profile data itself, which is encrypted on your device before it reaches us. We cannot read it.
  • Lobee: the instruction you give and the content of the pages it works on, which are processed to complete the task. We keep a record of how much each task used, not what it said.
  • Technical records: the standard server logs of requests to the website and the account service, and a record of actions taken on your account.

3. How we use it

To provide the service: sign you in, keep your profiles in step across your devices, meter and bill your usage, and carry out the tasks you give Lobee.

To keep the service secure and to answer your questions. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell it.

4. Who we share it with

We use service providers to process payments, to run the language models behind Lobee and to host the service. Each receives only what its role requires, processes it on our behalf, and may not use it for anything else.

We disclose information when the law requires it. We never share the contents of your profiles, because we cannot read them.

5. How long we keep it

Account and billing records are kept while your account exists, and as long afterwards as the law requires for financial records.

A deleted profile is removed after a short grace period. Technical records are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

6. Security

All traffic between you and the service is encrypted. Your password is never stored or logged in the clear. Profile data is encrypted on your device with a key we never hold.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information we will tell you as the law requires.

7. Your rights

You can see and change your account details in the application. To ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account, write to support@lobrowser.com. Deleting your account deletes your profiles with it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under local law, and you may complain to your data protection authority.

8. Cookies and local storage

The website sets no tracking cookies and carries no analytics. When you sign in, a session token is kept in your browser’s local storage so you stay signed in; signing out removes it.

The Lobster Browser application stores the cookies of the sites you visit inside the profile they belong to. Those are yours, and they are part of the encrypted profile data we cannot read.

9. Changes and contact

The date at the top says when this policy last changed. We will tell you about a change that affects your rights. Questions about privacy: support@lobrowser.com.
